What to do/expect
At Giraffe Centre, enjoy the sights of some of the biggest animals that wander the face of Earth. Run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), the center’s main objective is to secure the imperiled Rothschild giraffe (Giraffa Camelopardalis Rothschild) which is found to roam about in free and protected captivity around the meadows of East Africa.
Over the years the program has had a tremendous victory, bringing about the presentation of a few reproducing varieties of Rothschild Giraffe into Kenyan national parks.
There are also various other animals around, including several tame warthogs, and a wooded 95-acre (40-hectare) nature sanctuary across the road, which is a good area for birdwatching.
Our, driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi at around 05:00hrs. Depart immediately for a road travel down to the Nairobi National Park. You shall be entering the park gate at around dawn (06:30hrs)
