3-Day Masai Mara Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Nairobi → Masai Mara National Reserve
  • Pick-up: 6:30 AM from Nairobi hotel or airport.

  • Drive through the Great Rift Valley — stop for panoramic photos at the viewpoint.

  • Continue via Narok town (Maasai capital) arriving around midday.

  • Check-in and enjoy lunch at your lodge/camp.

  • Afternoon game drive (3:30–6:30 PM): Spot elephants, lions, zebras, and cheetahs against a golden sunset.

  • Dinner & overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge / Zebra Plains / Sentrim Mara / Mara Serena Lodge (depending on package).

Tip: Keep your camera ready for sunset silhouettes of giraffes on the horizon.

Day 2 – Full Day Game Drives in Masai Mara
  • Early breakfast, then set off for a full-day game drive with packed lunch.

  • Explore the Mara Triangle and Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos thrive.
